New England based musical group, Manguito, brought their wide range of Caribbean music to Frost Elementary recently. Using instruments ranging from flute to conga and tambourine, they taught students musical styles including rumba, son, plena, and merengue. This engaging presentation got students on stage playing instruments and dancing in their seats. Thank you to Manguito for teaching us and to the Frost Social Justice team for making this happen!
