The ML, Multilingual Learner Department, launched the first-ever April Vacation Language Academy, designed to support students who enrolled later in the school year by providing intensive instruction to help them build the language skills they may have missed. An average of 40 students in grades 3–8 participated in this April vacation week academy held at Wetherbee and Guilmette Schools. Lawrence is proud to serve this diverse group of learners, welcoming students from Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guatemala, Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Philippines.
