Senator Payano and School Committee Member Donna Bertolino brought real life examples to a Spark Academy Civics Class and enjoyed a visit to several South Lawrence East Elementary classes earlier this week. The Senator, who attended school in Lawrence, connected with students about culture and politics. Students also performed a dance and enjoyed a read aloud with our visitors.
